Since my diagnosis ,  I started playschool, I found I didn't fit in because I was too shy to talk  to my peers untill i got support from an Sna , which she helped me to come out of my comfort zone , then i befriended a boy on which we grew quite close. I still attended regularly check ups with Dr Carson , he told my mam there was a specialised clinic in Tallagh Hospital for children with PWS, and they would be specialised in monitoring my development.  There I got monitored closely, such as my weight , height and physical development,  I also was introduced growth Hormone  specialised high tech drug for PWS, because I hit the scale of childhood obesity, Growth Hormone worked wonders for me, myself and mam taught it was cure but sadly it wasn't. It was then time to start primary school which I was introduced to swimming lessons , also i was refered to a speech Therapist to help me with my speech. Then it was time for me to move up to fifth class but the work was too hard despite the support from my class teacher, I had to leave where I went to a special school. There I was introduced to the junior cert and got 3 As and 2 Bs, that didn't stop there,  I then went on to be qualified in childcare. Then I started in Rehab Care in Wexford , where I continue to achieve my goals. Now I advocate for people with Disabilities through the AD Callers. People with PWS like myself can sometimes stutter when talking, other disabilities find this hard two, it can come across being annoying to businesses, when making a phone call so the AD Callers supports this. AD Callers is a phone identification it costs nothing to the businesses or the AD Callers, when a person with a disability makes a phone call to a business and simply say I am AD Caller, the business will then recognise the caller with a disability and will give that person extra paientence and guideness it is that simple.
